The British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (BCCT) is pleased to announce its search for a new Executive Director, as current CEO Vicki Wu prepares to step down to spend more time with her family following a highly successful tenure.

Under Vicki’s leadership, BCCT has achieved record results in membership growth, sponsorships, event attendance and revenue, while significantly strengthening engagement and connections across the British business, education and wider community in Taiwan.

Samuel Yang, Chairman of BCCT, commented:

“Vicki has done an outstanding job leading the Chamber through a period of record growth and achievement. We are sincerely grateful for her dedication and contribution. We now look forward to welcoming a new leader who can build on this success and take BCCT to the next level.”

The Opportunity

BCCT is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial and commercially minded Executive Director to lead its operations, grow membership and sponsorships, strengthen partnerships and expand the Chamber’s influence.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Board of Directors, British Office Taipei, British trade representatives, major British corporate sponsors, UK university alumni groups and the wider international business community.

We welcome applications from candidates with strong leadership potential, business development, relationship management and communication skills, and a genuine passion for strengthening UK–Taiwan relations.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of Taiwan’s most established international business organisations and help shape its next chapter of growth.

Applications and Enquiries

The Chamber has selected a professional executive recruitment firm, Boyden, to lead this search. Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and covering letter to [email protected] by November 5th.
