台北市英僑商務協會相當重視台灣企業以及個人在不同領域的出色企業責任表現，透過「優良企業貢獻獎」，期待藉此帶動企業組織以及個人對於實現企業責任的風潮，塑造良好的社會責任文化並驅動企業永續發展，是每年企業永續發展的重要盛事，本年度優良企業貢獻獎選拔作業報名時間自即日起至8月1日止，獲獎單位除頒發獎座表揚外，獲獎事蹟也將列於得獎專刊。
優良企業貢獻獎強調企業永續發展，針對七大領域檢視企業永續發展績效連結性、創新與其達成的效益，選拔對企業永續發展和社會責任有具體績效的企業團體以及個人，並予以公開表揚，已邁入第六年，每年均有上百家單位投件參賽，獎別分為「企業社會責任獎」、「社會企業獎」、「企業多元文化獎」、「最佳企業領袖獎」、「最佳再生能源獎」、「最佳企業氣候行動獎」及「最佳創新健康福祉獎」，透過表揚樹立優良企業貢獻獎楷模，帶動更多單位提升整體並落實企業責任與永續發展。

The 6th annual Better Business Awards will be honouring achievements in responsible business in seven categories: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Social Enterprise, Diversity, Business Leader of the Year, Green Energy, Climate Champion and Innovation for Wellbeing. The awards are open to all Taiwan based companies and recognise programmes that clearly demonstrate a positive impact in Taiwan.
The BCCTaipei Better Business Awards are designed to encourage organisations and individuals to embrace corporate responsibility and drive sustainable development within enterprises.
The nomination period is open until 1 August and full details of how to apply can be found on the Better Business Awards 2022 official website.

There is no application fee for the awards. Is there, however, an extra charge? For example, entry fees, award fees, and sponsorships following a win. 請問報名此獎項除無須報名費外，是否還有其他任何的衍生費用呢？(如：參賽費、得獎費用、得獎後的贊助費等等。)
No. There are no fees, such as entry fees or winning fees. If your company is chosen as one of the finalists, we will provide two (2) complimentary tickets to the Awards Ceremony. You'll have to pay for any additional attendees that you'd like to join the Awards Ceremony. There are no additional expenses. 我們不會額外收取任何衍生費用。若貴公司入圍，我們將提供兩張頒獎典禮入場席次，如有更多人想共襄盛舉，則需另外支付第三人及以上的票款，除此之外不需繳交任何費用。
Why does BCCTaipei choose to hold these awards if they don't charge any fees?不收取任何費用的話，為何 BCCTaipei 要舉辦這個獎項呢？
We intend to give back to society while also praising individuals and corporations. We encourage everyone to contribute in order to make Taiwan a better place. 本獎項旨在表揚個人及企業，以鼓勵更多企業一同努力實踐社會永續發展、重視友善環境、投入公益活動，並落實企業責任。
If we are not BCCTaipei member or British Company, can we apply to the awards?如果我們不是英僑商會的會員或是英國公司，我們可以申請獎項嗎?
Yes! Absolutely! One of BCCTaipei's main pillars is Responsible Business. We welcome applications from all companies, regardless of membership of our Chamber. 當然歡迎，英僑商會其中一個主要的任務是要推廣社會責任，我們非常歡迎台灣或外商各行業領域公司來申請各獎項。
Is it possible for a company to apply for more than one award? 同一間公司可以報多於一個獎嗎?
Yes. We don't limit the number of awards for which companies can apply. We are happy to accept more than one award application from you, as long as the submission meets the requirements of each award category. 可以！本獎項並沒有限制公司申請獎項之數量，十分歡迎一家公司報名多個獎項。只要符合各獎項要求即可申請。
We weren't finalists and/or winners the year before: is it possible for us to apply this year again? 如果去年沒入圍/得獎，今年可以再報名嗎？
可以！本商會相信再經過一年後，貴公司相較於前一年一定有所不同。由於每年參與評選之企業都不同，有報名就有得獎機會。因此，我們非常鼓勵企業再次申請獎項。
If we won the award last year, can we apply for the same award again this year? If we were a finalist last year, can we apply for the same award again this year? 如果是該獎項去年得主，今年可以再報名嗎？如果是該獎項去年入圍公司，今年可以再報名參加嗎?
For last year's Award Winner:No. In order to ensure fairness and diversity of awards, the winner of the award in the previous year cannot re-apply for the same award in the following year, but you're welcome to apply in other award categories. For the previous year's award finalists (other than winner):Yes. Please don't hesitate to apply for the award again this year if you missed out on the top spot last time!上一屆獎項得主:為了讓更多人有機會可以參與角逐與提高多元性，該獎項上一屆得主無法再申請今年的該獎項，但我們很歡迎該公司申請其他獎項。上一屆獎項入圍者:我們目前對上一屆入圍者沒有任何限制，所有獎項皆可再申請!
Is it still possible to apply if our plans have been disrupted by COVID-19?因為疫情原本要做的都被打亂了，我們可以報名嗎？
Yes. As the local COVID-19 situation in Taiwan has escalated since mid-May last year, many companies' plans have been thrown into disarray or become hard to accomplish. Nonetheless, we encourage you to apply for the awards. You may specify your initial plan and some programme evidence prior to the pandemic on the application form. We believe judges will sympathise with your circumstances.自去年5 月中旬，本地疫情日益嚴峻，許多公司的計劃因此被打亂，甚至無法執行。然而，我們仍鼓勵各企業申請獎項，另可在申請表上闡述貴公司原訂計劃或是疫情前有做到的實證，深信評審皆能理解。
Is there a Chinese application form?獎項有中文申請表嗎？
No. To minimise misconceptions caused by translation, we only provide an English application form; however, the application language can be either Chinese or English, with the exception of The Green Energy Award and Climate Champion Award, which are currently only accepted in English.為免產生誤會，我們只提供英文申請表，但填寫的語言則中英皆可。最佳再生能源以及最佳企業氣候行動獎目前僅接受英文。
Can we still apply despite our firm's modest size? 我們公司規模很小，也可以參與嗎？
Yes. The size of the company has no bearing on the award judgements. All corporations are encouraged to apply for the awards.獎項評選並不取決於公司的規模，任何企業皆歡迎參與評選。
