Ann-Marie is currently the Regional President for East Asia and Pacific at Bechtel, where she plays a crucial role in supporting customers and developing growth strategies within the region. With an impressive background in business development and government affairs, her expertise was honed at Caterpillar, where she served as the Director of Market Access for the Remanufacturing Division. During her 13-year tenure at Caterpillar, she led international advocacy and strategic engagement, building robust relationships with government departments globally. She significantly advanced the company's goals in the Asia Pacific region through effective policy, strategy, and advocacy. Ann-Marie also spearheaded Caterpillar's involvement in global organisations and managed sustainability targets for the division.
Ann-Marie holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Middlebury College and an MBA from the University of Hawaii. Additionally, she obtained a language certificate in Mandarin Chinese from Johns Hopkins University, Nanjing. She is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Jamaican Patois, which enrich her business interactions in East Asia.
Since moving to Taipei, Ann-Marie has actively engaged with the British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (BCCTaipei) and the British Office. Recently, she spoke at BCCTaipei's Women in Business International Women's Day Celebration, emphasising her commitment to fostering inclusive business environments and empowering women across various industries.
