New BCCT Executive Director Appointed

The British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (BCCT) is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Executive Director, Ms. Amanda Metti, starting 7 December. Ms Metti is currently the interim CEO of the European Chamber of Commerce Taipei a post she has held since July while the Chamber continued its search for a permanent CEO.

Ms. Metti has been in Taiwan since August 2008.  Prior to this she was based in London, UK where she spent 15 years in the Public Relations and Marketing Industry representing the interests of leading Telecom and Technology brands.  Most recently she served as Associate Director at AxiCom Cohn & Wolfe overseeing the consumer PR division.  Amanda brings with her extensive experience of client relations, brand & marketing expertise as well as event management. She holds a Msc. in Social Science from the University of Edinburgh and is currently studying for Bsc. in Psychology with the UK’s Open University.
