Ensuring Retail Competitiveness Using Geospatial Data
On Wednesday October 20th the British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei held its monthly luncheon inviting guest speaker Bruce Berkman, Chairman, Getchee Ltd to talk about Managing Asian Retail Operations Risk with Geospatial Data. Mr Berkman discussed the important steps that companies needed to take in order to decide where to locate their retail outlets, whether it’s a shop, a bank or a car show room. Mr Berkman discussed how retail infrastructure and demographics, along with associated quantitative processes and satellite mapping could be used to improve retail performance.
