Dear Members/Friends,
On Friday May 28th 2010 the British Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual General Meeting at the American Club followed by an informal wine & cheese tasting party which is open to everyone (members and non-members).
Like members and friends of the British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei, Wine and Cheese are old friends so if you love wine and cheese and would like to spend a relaxing evening among friends come and join us on May 28th at 19.00 for our informal Wine and Cheese AGM After Party.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned wine taster you will be sure to have lots of fun. Wine expert Mark Peterson from VinVinoWine.Asia will be on hand throughout the night to guide you through the wines available and answer any questions you might have.
There will be a variety of wines served throughout the evening including
White wines; Valdivieso Sauv Blanc 2007 Rsv, El Toqui Chard 2006 Rsv and La Joya Sauv Blanc
Red wines; Cousino Macul Cab Sauv Rsv, El Toqui Cab Sauv Rsv and Valdivieso Pinot Noir Rsv.
A delicious range of cheeses such as Gouda, Fresh Mozzarella, Cheddar, Creamy Camembert, Gourmet Swiss, and Blue Cheese served with crusty French bread, crispy crackers, fresh grapes, apricots and walnuts will be available as well as hot plates such as Grilled Prawns wrapped with pancetta, Crispy Scallop Cake, Served with Saffron Ailoi, Cheese Tortellini, Roasted Lamb Tenderloin Kabob with Mix Nuts, Beef Peccadillo with Sour Cream, Grilled Louisiana Spicy Sausage.
