Attracting Top Talent: Millennials

Millennials are a generation marked by tech-savviness, creativity, and flexibility. They look for jobs through unconventional social media connections, and are driven by a strong sense of both local and global community. They are also much more focused on work-life balance and corporate philanthropy than previous generations.

While these qualities can be considered strong assets for a company, Generation X recruiters in Japan who are unfamiliar with Millennials sometimes feel uncomfortable about the new generation not following traditional job patterns; what appears to be a lack of company loyalty; frequent job-hopping, and a seemingly increased sense of entitlement.

Join us to hear David Swan, Managing Director of Robert Walters Japan & Korea, talk about what your organisation can do to attract top talent, retain it, and engage Generation Y to produce their full potential on the job.
