Things You Need to Know About IFRS 

On Friday January 18th 2010 the BCCT came together with AmCham and the ECCT for a joint luncheon featuring guest speaker Joseph Chou, Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Taiwan.

Joseph Chou provided the audience with a detailed overview of the proposed adoption of IFRS standards by the Taiwan government in terms of financial reporting requirements and financial statements. He highlighted key areas of IFRS, major challenges that the audience should be aware of and how to prepare for them.

Joseph Chou leads PwC’s Global Capital Markets Group in Taiwan. He has expert knowledge and experience of Taiwan GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS through providing technical advisory support and assisting existing U.S. SEC registrants with their on-going reporting requirements and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
