CARNEGIE’S FC NAMED WINNERS OF
THE BRISTISH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TAIPEI
INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
Friendly warm-up to the real world cup

Taipei, 9 June 2010 – The British Chamber of Commerce Taipei (BCCT) today announced the winner of its first International Football Tournament held on June 5th. Jointly organised with FreshTreks the British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei International Football Tournament was designed as a friendly warm-up to the start of the real World Cup this weekend. Over fifty players, making up a total of eight teams, battled it out on the field but in the end there could only be one winner.  This year Carnegie's FC took the trophy, second place was Taipei Red Lions and third place was French Kiss B. The day was such a huge success that the British Chamber of Commerce and Freshtreks have decided to run the tournament again next year.
