Harvest Party

On Saturday September 12th, 2009 the British Chamber hosted the annual Harvest Party, held at the residence of David Campbell, Director of the British Trade & Cultural Office. Nick Winsor, President & CEO of HSBC Taiwan and Chairman of the BCCT, welcomed all the guests and David Campbell then went on to greet everyone and explain that in the UK the end of the harvest in September has always been a traditional time for people to celebrate. Obviously none of the guests present had been working on the harvest over the summer but it was a good time to welcome those who had been away on holiday and those newly arrived in Taiwan. Following the speeches the guests enjoyed a delicious Mongolian BBQ in the back garden, overlooking Yang Ming Shan and 101.
