Shifting the Global Balance of Power – Sir Anthony Galsworthy

On Thursday July 15th the British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei in conjunction with the American Chamber and the European Chamber of Commerce held a special luncheon inviting former career diplomat and currently advisor to Standard Chartered Bank Sir Anthony Galsworthy to address an audience of over 65 local and international business people.

Sir Anthony Galsworthy spoke about the shift in the balance of economic and financial power from the West to the East.  This has been widely addressed following the financial crisis, and some have even argued that a shift in the balance of political power may also arrive soon, especially with China’s influence growing rapidly in many international occasions.
