Membership Categories & Fees

Regular Membership
Open to any companies, partnerships, sole proprietorships, unincorporated associations, societies or other organisations having offices in Taiwan; or to any individual regardless of nationality. Regular Membership carries the rights to both voting and holding office.

• LARGE CORPORATE
Applies to companies with 50 or more employees in their Taipei office(s).
A maximum of three corporate representatives may be nominated, with one representative designated the “Authorised Representative”, who shall hold the voting rights of the member. The other two representatives, known as the “Additional Representatives”, shall be entitled to all privileges of membership excepting voting and holding office.

• SMALL CORPORATE
Applies to companies with fewer than 50 employees in their Taipei office(s). A maximum of one corporate representative may be nominated, designated the “Authorised Representative”, who shall hold the voting rights of the company member. Small Corporate members may have Additional Representatives only by adding Corporate Additional members.

• INDIVIDUAL
Applies to any individual of 20 years of age or older and who has been admitted as an Individual Member by the General Committee Each Individual member will have rights to both voting and holding office.

• BRITPACK
Applies to any young professional aged 20 to 30 years of age who does not qualify for any other category of membership. Each Individual member will have rights to both voting and holding office.

Non Regular Membership
• HONORARY MEMBER
Applies to individual over the age of 20 years who has made a special and significant contribution in the promotion or implementation of the purposes and objectives of the Chamber, and who have been admitted as an Honorary Member by the General Committee, and an Honorary Member shall be exempt from the payment of all fees and dues payable to the Chamber.
