The British
Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (BCCT) announced today the appointment of Ms.
Kim Moore as Executive Director.
Kim Moore comes to the BCCT with
twelve years marketing and management experience. Previously she was based
in Beijing and Taipei in business development and project management roles
for pan-Asia Pacific marketing research engagements in the business services
sector with TNS and NFO. More recently Kim provided corporate sponsorship
and marketing counsel for two international touring exhibitions of Chinese

National University's ICLP program and Taiwan National Normal University.
Kim began her career in arts management. After stints at the Guggenheim
Museum in Venice and the Venice Biennale, Italy, Kim returned to Australia
to take up a position at the Australia Council in Sydney with its
international programs division, where she managed participation at the
Venice Biennale and established cultural exchange programs in Asia.
Kim Moore was born in London, raised in Melbourne, Australia, and holds a
bachelors degree in Business Administration from the Royal Melbourne
Institute of Technology, and a post-graduate degree in Management from the
University of Melbourne's Melbourne Business School.
"Kim's breadth
of international marketing and management experience, and knowledge of the
Taiwan market are ideal qualifications to take the British Chamber of
Commerce into a new stage of development", said Mr. Paul Burke, Chairman of
the British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei. "Kim brings a level of
sophistication and leadership to our team that few others in the region
could. We're thrilled to have her aboard".
"I'm tremendously excited to work with the British Chamber of Commerce’s
board, members and the Taiwan business community at large to further develop
the BCCT's uniquely valuable offering in Taiwan – particularly with our
Taiwanese membership base," said Ms. Moore.
