The British and American Chambers of Commerce are collaborating to celebrate
Royal Ascot, one of the world’s most famous horse race meetings, and a major
event in the British social calendar. In keeping with the style and panache
of Royal Ascot, this British and American Chamber event will feature Mumm 's
Champagne and a suite of delicious hors d’oeuvres – to be enjoyed poolside
at the ACC.
Entry includes a complimentary glass of Mumm’s Champagne, delicious hors
d’oeuvres, and wonderfully affordable discounts on subsequent enjoyment of
Mumm’s Champagne: NT$300 per glass / NT$1,500 per bottle (normally
NT$2,500+). Entry also includes the chance to win bottles of Mumm’s
Champagne by wearing your most elegant hat (interpretation of which is a
wide open field).
The hors d’oeuvres will include tuna tartar, Brie and grapes on French
bread, foie gras mousse on brioche with fig compote, Kalamate olives and
marinated feta and beef carpaccio with olive salsa and Parmesan, and many
more. Please consider as a light meal rather than full dinner. Following the
event, the ACC invites nonmembers who are guests of the two Chambers to eat
at any of its outlets on a cash basis (credit cards are preferred), or head
to Rendezvous where the same Champagne offers will be available throughout
the evening!
ACC Members will be able to park in the Club parking lot; non-members can
park along the yellow lines on Bei An Road or at Radio Taiwan International
(next door). As drinking and driving are not a good mix, we strongly urge
everyone to consider taking a taxi to and from the venue.
