We’ve decided to run with a more intimate, experiential adventure, as such
“A Taste of Britain” will replace the Britannia Ball originally scheduled 31
May 2008.
Take a journey through Britain's food, music, humour and pastimes, all
without leaving the confines of cosy Taipei. Wander down memory lane with
classics such as REAL home-made Oxfordshire sausages, washed down with great
beers and fine wines, and polished off with a bread and butter pudding to
rival the best of British boarding schools. And while you're tucking in, our
DJ will make sure that only the purest supply of the best of UK's music
reaches your ears. There'll be no Britney (or Bon Jovi) to spoil your
Stilton.
And if all that isn’t enough, what better way to round off the evening than
with a flutter on the Epsom Derby, or enter our raffle, or both.
