Speaker:
Christine Losecat - Curator & British Government's Creative Industries
Champion
Topic:
Join us for a tour of contemporary British design – fashion,
graphics, furniture and product design, architecture and engineering –
and learn more about how your company can be involved in the straddling
of creative and commercial possibilities.
The best of the UK’s design talent is to be showcased in an exciting
exhibition at The Taipei 101 (Outside Page One) 12-28 October. Curated
and organised jointly by UK Trade & Investment and the British Council,
Love & Money features projects and designers that balance commercial
success with the invention and experimentation for which Britain’s
creative industries are internationally renowned.
Twenty installations telling Britain’s top design stories will
demonstrate the powerful combination of creativity and business sense.
Selected from across the range of design industries, the stories will
reflect the best of today’s talent in fashion, graphics, furniture and
product design, architecture and engineering.
About the speaker:
Christine Losecat, London-based curator and the British Government’s
Creative Industries Champion will speak about the latest developments in
British design, the Love & Money Exhibition, and wrap around events,
including an opening reception hosted by Diana Chen (89th Floor
restaurant), a Design Seminar, a visiting mission of British Designers,
and a press campaign. Find out how your company can be involved in these
funky events.
To assist us to appropriately plan for this
event we urge you to register in advance.
