Kathrin Hille, Financial Times Taipei correspondent, will talk about the
current political situation in Taiwan in the lead up to the national
primary elections. Hear the latest analysis on the political parties,
the key candidates, where they stand on cross-strait relations and
economic policy, and in particular the implications of a possible win
for the DPP.
About the Speaker:
Kathrin Hille is the Financial Times Taipei Correspondent. Since the
start of her assignment in February 2003, she has been covering Taiwan
politics, economic and financial policy, cross-Strait relations,
Taiwan-US relations, Taiwan’s economic integration with China and its
interplay with political restrictions, financial market and banking
reform in Taiwan and the technology industry.
