|
Jim Jeffries

"“The best part of the
evening”
- The Sydney Times
“...at the end it was Jim Jeffries who stole the show, and that
was no mean feat”
- NSW Post
“Not for the faint hearted but hilarious!”- The Scotsman |
Hailing from Perth (the one in Western Australia), Jim has come
a long way since he did his first ever comedy spot in Sydney at
the age of 17. He has won the Perth Comic of the Year 2000, and
is a celebrity in the city. Although as he says, even local
newsreaders are celebrities in Perth.
Whilst staying in Australia, he has headlined at all the major
clubs right across the country, and established and run comedy
nights.
In an effort to show he is multi-talented he has hosted his own
top 40 radio show on Perth FM. He's tried his hand at acting,
and stars alongside Craig Mclaughlin in the film
Let's Get Skase which is currently waiting for
release. And having a degree in Musical Theatre, he has sung
with the Australian Opera Company, in that Opera house. Oh, and
played the male lead in The Pyjama Game too.

Richard Morton

“Hilarious... Newcastle’s answer to
Billy Connolly”
- The Guardian
“A great stand up. Audiences laughed longer and louder at Morton
than any other act on the Fringe”
- The Daily Express |
Stand up comedian, singer and songwriter Richard
Morton has built up a formidable reputation as a live stand up
comedian having completed several tours in the UK with Jack Dee,
Lee Evans, Jo Brand, Lily Savage and Phil Jupitus.
He has also performed at many international comedy festivals
including Edinburgh (where he was a big favourite) and Montreal.
As well as being a regular BBC radio, he has made guest
appearances on many national TV shows including Jack Dee's
Saturday Night, Funny Business, Good Stuff and The Richard
Morton Christmas Show.
He has also had several acting roles in Channel 4's Jack and
Jeremy's Real Lives series. |

Caimh McDonnell

"A Standout Act"
- Daily Telegraph
"Blessed with a natural charm"
-The BBC
"Superb"
- Manchester Evening News
|
Caimh McDonnell has been working on the UK comedy
circuit for a couple of years and has fast built a reputation as
the white-haired Irishman whose name nobody can pronounce.
Despite this obvious handicap he has established a reputation as
both a skilful MC and a talented act in his own right. His
quick-witted style mixes topical material with keen observations
from his unique perspective and has proven to be a firm
favourite with audiences all over the country. Caimh was a
semi-finalist in the 2002 BBC and Daily Telegraph new act awards
and is also a proud winner of the legendary Comedy Store Gong
show.
Caimh also works as a comedy writer for TV and has worked on
projects such as 2DTV as well as the satirical documentary
series "Don't Worry" for Channel 4 and the sitcom "The Crust"
for CBBC, both of which are scheduled to air in the autumn of
2004. |
