Keynote Speaker:
Dr. David W.F. Huang, Vice Chairman Mainland Affairs Council, The Executive
Yuan.
With the constantly changing political landscape and cross-strait
negotiations increasingly more important politically and economically, it is
with pleasure to announce that Dr. David Huang, Vice Chairman of the
Mainland Affairs Council will be the featured speaker at the March Business
Forum.
He comes to us with impressive academic credentials from around the globe.
Most notable to BCCT members, he received not only his Masters of Philosophy
in Politics from New College, University of Oxford, but also his Doctorate
in the same subject at Nuffield College, Oxford University. Yes, he even
chose to study in the U.S. and acquired his Masters of Science degree from
the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) — all complimenting his BA
in Diplomacy from National ChengChi University in his native Taiwan.
Involved in activities as an Associate Research Fellow at Academia Sinica
and an Associate Professor at National Taiwan University, Dr. Huang has kept
his skills honed. As he carries out his MAC responsibilities, he definitely
keeps his eyes on current events and their impact on the crucial
cross-strait issues.
We invite you to join us for this timely and predicted stimulating
discussion with Dr. Huang. Entrance fee includes a three-course dinner, wine
and beer.
